Keith Jefferson, a buddy of Jamie Foxx’s who he claims recently passed away, is being mourned.
On Thursday, Foxx shared an homage to Jefferson, another actor, with the caption “this one stings. Keith, you were nothing but perfect elegance throughout your entire life. Your love was unfathomable, and you were a remarkable spirit.
Foxx continued, “We will all miss you very much. “This is going to take a long time to heal.”
The “Ray” actor posted two further posts in memory of Jefferson, one of which contained the following statement: “Everything hurts right now having a hard time looking through these pictures reliving the memories of us having a great time going to miss you man.” In the posts, Foxx included several images of the couple.
Jefferson co-starred with Foxx on two episodes of “The Jamie Foxx Show” in 1998 and 1999, according to his IMDb bio. Over the years, they participated in a number of additional projects together, such as the Quentin Tarantino movie “Django Unchained” from 2012, as well as more recent films “Day Shift” and “The Burial.”
Additionally, Jefferson made an appearance in “The Hateful Eight” (2015) and “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” (2019) by Quentin Tarantino.
In an August social media post, Jefferson revealed his cancer diagnosis and included Foxx, writing, “I have a loving family and the best friends in the entire world. You’re aware of who you are. J Foxx, my mother, and everyone else in between.
